*Congratulations to the 2008 Goleman Jazz band for receiving Straight Superiors at the FBA State MPA!!!
*The Goleman Wind Ensemble has returned from Tennessee!! The Wind Ensemble Recieved 1st place in Concert Class 4A and the only band in its class to recieve A superior award at the Smokey Mountain Music Festival!

The Barbara Goleman High School "Sight and Sound of Gold" Band Program consists of many talented musical and visual ensembles. The Sight and Sound of Gold Band Program includes the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Marching Band, Color Guard and Winter Guard. Each of these groups performs throughout the year in various venues, concerts, festivals, evaluations, and competitions. Many students participate in multiple ensembles within the band program. The Goleman band is Under the Direction of Ms. Susana Lalama.
